NPP Will Resolve All Internal Issues - National Chairman Assures

As the Ejisu by-election approaches, the National Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ntim, on Sunday, April 28, stated that the party will address all internal issues before the December general elections.

The National Chairman made this statement during a rally organised by the party to canvass for votes for their Parliamentary candidate, Lawyer Kwabena Boateng.

There has been an unrest within the NPP in recent times with some candidates who participated in the Parliamentary Primaries, deciding to contest as independent candidates in the December 7 general elections.

In his address at their final buildup to the Ejisu by-election, Mr. Ntim assured party supporters and all sympathisers of NPP that strict measures is being taken to resolve the lingering issues to prevent further threat to the unity of the party.

“I do not want issues of independent candidature to plague our party,” Mr. Ntim stated as he wooed electorates to vote for the NPP’s Kwabena Boateng.

“And it is obvious that such individuals are closest members of our great party. But I can assure you that when Kwabena Boateng is elected MP for Ejisu our national leadership will ensure that all internal issues in the various constituencies will be resolved."

Thousands of party supporters and sympathisers thronged Ejisu to experience the rally with the stalwart of the party in attendance.

He urged voters in Ejisu to dismiss any idea to vote for the independent candidate, Kwabena Owusu Aduomi.
